ONE DAY
Making it easy to obey ''The Great Commission''

The name 'ONE DAY' is to symbolize our desire to have an achievable strategy as a church to empower our entire congregation in fulfilling God's call to reach into our local community with the love of Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to involve 100% of our average Sunday School attendance by asking each person to give 2 hours once a month over a 12 month period which, in effect, is 'ONE DAY' a year given to local evangelism.

 

	Sunday School classes anchor each 'ONE DAY' happening.  Each class is assigned to one of four teams labelled 'T-E-A-M' signifying that 'Together Everyone Accomplishes More.'
Even our teen Sunday School classes are involved in 'ONE DAY.'  Here, a group of students are phoning the community to ask for prayer needs from whomever may answer the phone.  This confidential request is written down and delivered to the prayer room where it is immediately lifted to the Lord by another person who cares for the people of our community.

It is our desire to do as much as we possibly can to bring new people into God's Kingdom. Someone once said, 'You are never more like God than when you give.'  'ONE DAY' is just another way of giving ourselves to God and ultimately to others.
